Inside Babylon, a gay club in Pittsburgh, Michael introduces himself and his friends to us: there’s Ted, very smart but plain looking, and Emmett, flamboyant and campy.

Sex is the main focus of the discussion and so Michael brings our attention to another one of his friends, who’s seducing a guy on the dancefloor: it’s Brian Kinney.

Brian, handsome and sexy, takes his trick to the backroom, but Michael intervenes and tells him to hurry because the group wants to go home.

Meanwhile, it’s seventeen year old Justin’s first time in Pittsburgh gay neighborhood and, after an initial weird encounter, he arrives near Babylon, just in time for Brian, fresh out of the club, to spot him and decide to bring him to his place leaving Ted the “pleasure” of taking home the others.

Brian seduces Justin in his loft, while Michael’s own seduction scene with an admirer who followed him home from the club reserves some funny surprises.

When Melanie’s phone call announcing the birth of Brian’s son interrupts Brian and Justin’s night, Brian calls Michael who readily abandons the peculiar admirer and offers to go with Brian to the hospital, not knowing that Justin will also be going with them.

At the hospital Lindsay, the friend, to whom Brian donated his sperm and who just delivered their child, and her partner Melanie introduce Brian to his own son and they, thanks also to Justin’s suggestion, decide to call the child Gus.

After leaving the hospital, Brian takes Justin back to his loft and the two have sex for the first time, while Michael goes home alone.

Justin spends the night at Brian’s and the following morning, after having sex in the shower, Brian takes the boy to school with Michael.

Brian’s Jeep had been vandalized the night before though and now there’s “Fag” written in pink on one side of it.

Uncaring, Brian makes an impressive entrance in front of Justin’s school and leaves the boy there promising him that he will see him again: in the boy’s dreams.
