It’s time for Gus’ bris, the Jewish ceremony of male circumcision, usually performed on the early days of life. Melanie and Lindsay have organized a party for the rite but Brian doesn’t want to attend.
Michael tries to convince him, reminding him that he’s the child’s father, but Brian tells his friend that apparently he’s the father only when the girls want his money.
At the party, Emmett faints when he realizes what the ceremony is about, and when Michael also learns about the significance of the rite he immediately calls Brian to tell him about it.
Brian arrives to the party and effectively stops the ceremony which makes Melanie very angry and drives a wedge between her and Lindsay who’s instinctively sided with Brian.
After leaving the party, the boys go to Woody’s where they are surprised to see Debbie and her brother Vic, too. Michael isn’t happy to have his own mother in the bar and he gets even angrier when Justin arrives with Daphne.
Justin, who has no idea that his mother has found Brian’s underwear in his room and is beginning to suspect he’s gay, is there to see Brian, but Brian seems more interested in the “trick of the night” to care.
When the scene moves onto Babylon, we see that Brian was able to get to the guy he was following, but Justin, who got into Babylon using Vic’s ID, decides to show him what he’s missing out and, shirtless, makes a show on the dancefloor and steals Brian’s conquest. At that point Brian, intrigued, drives away the guys surrounding Justin and dances with him under the distressed gaze of Michael whose advances Brian rejected not a minute prior.
Ted leaves Babylon early and outside the club he meets Blake, a guy who had seemed interested in him early on. Ted brings Blake home and lets himself be convinced to try drugs. Unfortunately, Ted takes too much and he collapses on the floor.
